Post Olympic Blues

If you have been a die hard, flag waving, maple leaf wearing, proud Canadian, screaming fan like me, then I’m sure you too have been left feeling a little blue that it’s all over.  The Closing Ceremonies have left us all feeling a little more proud and a little more confident in our identity but no venue for us to yell it out loud.  Sure we’re tired, but we miss the random Tuesday night parties, the spontaneous outbreaks of  ‘Oh Canada’  being sung in the streets, and watching TV at home just isn’t as satisfying as watching a huge screen downtown with a few hundred of our closest friends.

Here are a few ways I plan on getting myself out of my Apres Olympic Blues!

1)  Hit the slopes!  Get your last few runs in before spring.  Whistler Blackcomb is open and the free parking is back.  Ski and snowboard on the mountain that’s been seen around the world.

2) Spring Fashions are here!  So, why not get a jump start on your Spring Wardrobe?  New arrivals are hitting the stores this month.   Not sure where to start?  Go to www.louloumagazine.com for insight in to this season’s must haves and to see what your fave celebs will be wearing this spring/summer season!

3) Get some tix for the Paralympics!  There are lots of tickets still available!  What better way to keep the feeling alive then with cheering on more Athletes from around the world.  Visit www.vancouver2010.com for in

formation on tickets and events.
