Home Sweet Vintage

I am still fairly new to shopping for vintage clothing items, but when it comes to home decor items?  I’ve been in love with and collecting items here and there for as long as I can remember.  My favorite vintage pieces in my home are the ones passed on to me by family members.  It’s like having a little piece of them with me in my home.  I have a wide variety of items I’ve inherited likes teacups, china, a lantern, jewelry, even an old typewriter.  I’ve found some really pretty vintage vases that I’ve added to my collection over the last couple years too.  Vintage markets and new sites like Charlie Ford Vintage, are like candy stores to me.  Just too hard to resist.

Aperitif glasses from my great-grandmother.

My grandfather’s binoculars and case.

My newest love.  My Mom recently gave me this 100+  year old pearl & diamond brooch that belonged to my great-great-grandmother. It has been handed down through the generations.  It can also be worn as a necklace pendant.  I cherish it.

Are you a vintage shopper?  Where do you find your treasures?
