Work It Girl

At work style can vary so much depending on the type of work we do.  To help inspire your personal style, I’ve come up with three work looks.  One for the corporate ladies, one for you creative types, and another for you gals who need to travel in style.

Work Wear - Corporate

Corporate dressing does not mean dowdy, ill fitting suits, with zero personality.  With Spring in mind, try fresh neutrals like blushes, ivory, and natural tones.  Mix and match these hues together to add some interest.  I love popping in some gold for just a little bit of sparkle.  Who says a women can’t be fabulous and powerful?

Work Attire - Creative

This grouping is very me inspired.  I  work in a creative field which allows me dress in a more casual way.  Jeans are completely appropriate, but I always make to sure to add some polish to dress up the look.  Items like a classic black blazer and a fab throw-your-life-in-there bag will take your Creme de la Creme tee from at home office to coffee with clients.

Work Wear - Travel

If you have to travel for work, keeping comfort in mind is essential.  When getting off a plane to head straight to a meeting, yoga pants and a hoody are obviously not going to cut it.  I love dresses for travel.  Pick a looser fit, like a sheath dress.  Pair it with a cozy cardi, pashmina, flats, and a stylish carry all.  Keep your jewelry minimal {you don’t want to be “that girl” holding up the security line}.  Pack a pair of heels so you can quickly amp up your look.

{Tip: Sunnies and an amazing red pout are the easiest way to add extra glamour to any look.}
