Travel Capsule Wardrobe for Mom

palm springs

It’s Spring Break Yo!  I would love to say we are heading out some place fab on an airplane to take in some sunshine, buuuuut we aren’t.  For those of you who are lucky enough to have a holiday coming up in the near future, I thought I’d help get you started.  When you are a mom going on a family vacation, it means having to pack for EVERYONE.  So, what does mom pack for herself?

Last November, we took our first vacay as a family of five and I’ve got to say, I kinda nailed packing for myself.  I was realistic about what I would wear while away (no, “oh I love this dress I haven’t worn in 5 years, but will totally wear it on vacation” pieces)  We rented an Air BnB in Palm Springs, which had a washer and dryer.  A huge plus when traveling with children.  This allowed me to pack less, and create a capsule travel wardrobe.  So, if you’re trying to figure out what the heck to pack….here’s my list that worked great for me.  May it serve you well and happy travels!
