The Oscars

What I loved….White….

Tom Ford…simple and elegant.

Elie Saab

Jennifer Lopez wore a Zuhair Murad dress.  If I had her body I would wear a dress like this to the grocery store!

Valentino….not really sure what it is about this dress that I’m drawn to, but there’s just something about it.

Givenchy Couture

Fuchsia & Red….

Giambattista Valli

Michelle Williams in Louis Vuitton.  The addition of the bow broach at the waistline was a lovely touch.  I’m really loving the peplum dresses.

…with just a bit of nude…

J. Mendel

…and then the dress that was a total stand out…

Alexander McQueen

…and I can’t say I was loving Angelina’s look.  She looks like a malnourished Barbie Doll.  Her makeup is too severe for her very pale skin.  This pose is ridiculous and I’m so glad it was mocked.

Atelier Versace

Soooo?  Who did you love?  Who did you hate?  Who stood out to you?

Gwyneth Paltrow was definitely the stand out of the night for me – I thought this look was perfect on her in particular, and it was just so strong and elegant. Also loved Michelle Williams, Rooney Mara and Angelina! and I thought Natalie Portman looked really sweet too.

Oh I think I would have to go with the McQueen dress. The detailing is amazing!

If you ever go to the states – go through the truck boarder and check our their duty free. They usually have lots of Dior products and a lot cheaper than a department store! (I buy most of my product there as they carry Clinique too)
