I love this time of year. Everything feels so much more full of joy. The simplest things, like a walk, can be a fun adventure for Maddie and I, especially when Christmas lights are involved. On Saturday we took Maddie to the Santa Clause parade. These pics were not taken then. Saturday was a miserable weather day. It was grey and poured rain, but we bundled up, put on our rain boots and a fun day! Our day involved Santa, hot cocoa, and a bit of shopping. We made our own sunshine!
