With so much menswear inspiration in women’s fashion right now, it’s hard not to take a style cue or two from the guys. I recently had the opportunity to see exactly what is happening in menswear at Harry Rosen this upcoming Spring/Summer season. I was blown away with everything being offered up to the fellas this year like texture, print, and loads of colour. Harry Rosen is one of my husbands favorite shops. They boast top designer labels like Armani, Hugo Boss, Zegna, Prada, and so many more.
Menswear does seem to trickle into my closet from time to time. This double print bow tie adds a touch of whimsy to my take on the “Canadian Tuxedo”. Hats, sweaters, and shirts are other pieces I like to steal from the guys. But don’t think masculine touches can’t be sexy. The key is to pair them with feminine pieces like a flirty skirt or bold red lips.
