Last week I had the pleasure of attending an evening at a very cool new jewelry store, Cavalier. Owners Dane and Keith ( at only 24 and 25 years old respectively) have created the ultimate space to shop for luxury gems (many locally made). One a former professional hockey player and the other a successful musician, also have family roots in gemology. They are the third generation in the business so opening their own store was a natural choice.
With display cases made of beautiful carved wood and the surroundings feeling like a city loft with exposed brick, made the shopping environment very relaxed. I couldn’t help but feel that any fella would feel comfortable in their shop. Not only is the store anything but intimidating, you can sip on Stanley Park beer in a great little lounge area all while perusing fabulous jewels.
So ladies, start that Christmas wishlist now! If you’re man doesn’t know where to go, send him to Cavalier….for a beer;)
