So, yes…here I am doing an outfit post for the first time since having Maddie.  Kinda funny that just last week I was telling someone I was definitely done posting outfit pics {other than the odd snap on Insta}.   I guess never say never.  This outfit just seemed worthy of sharing with y’all.

Lately I’ve been crushing on light and airy dusters.  They are flowy and easy to wear, plus they can conceal bits of my body I’m still trying to get used to.  This one was a steal but still has luxe look to it.  I’m loving it paired with this casual boyfriend style chinos and also over dresses.  It’s a Summer trend that I actually find wearable.

For Fall {don’t kill me for saying the F word right at the beginning of Summer}, matte lips are what we will be seeing loads of.  It’s a bit of a throwback to the 90’s.  I still vividly remember lathering my lips with the darkest colour of crimson I could find and then caking on pressed powder to achieve the “perfect” matte lip.  Well thankfully we’ve moved past that and now have beautiful matte options.  One of my top picks is the Lise Watier Feline Velvet Lip Lacquer.  I like that it looks and feels smooth on the lips.  It will be available in London Drugs starting in August.
