For the longest time I felt like I was too old and too curvy to wear a tulle skirt, unyet, I was completely drawn to them whenever I would see them.  Such a beautiful and versatile piece…as long as you are young and thin, right?   Weeeellllllll, maybe not.  For me, it was all about finding the right skirt.  My checklist I had for such a skirt was that it needed to not be too poofy (check), have a longer length (check), have an elastic waistband (check), and be in a darker basic colour (and check).  When I spotted this beauty, I knew it had to be mine.

Styled my way with pretty neutral colours and a pop of sparkle, I now think a tulle skirt can absolutely be an age appropriate item.  And the too curvy thing?  I’m so over that too!
