So you’ve spent hours trying to figure out what to wear to a friends holiday house party. You finally piece it all together, accessorize, put on your fave shoes that obviously make the outfit, only to arrive and take them off immediately. Sound familiar? We’ve all been there. There was a whole Sex and the City episode about it! A favourite episode of mine actually. Anywho….rather than find yourself in your cute outfit and old ugly socks, plan ahead. Depending on the weather and where you live, you may be able to keep your shoes on. If not, pack a pair with you. I plan on keeping these fun purple flats on hand for such occasions. They are flat with a rubber sole, so no fear of scuffing or scratching up anyone’s floors. The key is to either clean the pair you plan to pack or have new ones that are already clean. There’s no point in taking off a dirty pair to only put on another dirty pair.
Shopping tip…A lot of women shy away from buying a shoe like this for the winter months. Keep in mind that while you may be limited to the indoors with them this time of year, they will transition perfectly into your Spring wardrobe when things warm up.
