I have worn this hat to death this Summer. I love the wide brim which, not only protects me from the sun, but helps hide a tired face and dirty hair. Hats are the chicest way to take disheveled to acceptable to be seen in public. I know you’ve seen it in posts before, but I can’t quit this hat. A Fall/Winter version of this hat is on my shopping wish list for the upcoming season. I need to keep this sartorial love affair going. Easy pieces, like this Tobi top, are on repeat as the Summer is winding down. How is it September 1st already?!?
I can’t believe Madelyn is going back to school next week! We stayed home all Summer long and just enjoyed time with the kids and doing fun things in this beautiful city we live in. We spent A LOT of time enjoying our backyard and the new huge deck that my husband built last year. We have had most of our meals out there and it has been a real extension of our living space. There is still a lot of hot, sunny weather in our future, so I’m not saying goodbye yet. I will never rush Summer along. More sun, more margaritas, and more BBQ’s please!
