Wool &

I grew up in the Prairies which meant long cold winters. Wool has always been in my wardrobe whether it’s was a warm sweater knit by my grandmother, my tights I’d layer under my pants, or cozy socks to keep my toes from freezing while playing out in the snow. I still love wool and all of it’s amazing properties like it being wrinkle resistant, odor resistant, temperature regulating, breathable, and quick drying.

I was recently introduced to a company out of Portland called Wool &. They offer up beautifully simple, merino wool dresses. They design with everyday wear in mind. Their pieces are meant to be worn over and over again and only need to be washed when needed. This is the sofia midi dress in orchid. It is so soft and comfortable, layers like a dream, can be worn year round, and IT HAS POCKETS!!!

Styling something new along with vintage finds and old favourites in my closet has helped me find a whole sense of style I had, honestly, for a while. It feels good to mindfully add new items into my wardrobe and to discover new sustainable brands.
