I am so incredibly excited to announce my collaboration with Buttercream Clothing for the new Jen Pistor Cozy Capsule Collection. This lovely collection has been months in the making and I am so excited to bring you some brand new Buttercream silhouettes as well as some familiar favourites.
The Cozy Capsule collection consists of pieces I sketched in my notebook as items I wanted to have in my own wardrobe. Thanks to Candice and the Buttercream Team, those sketches have come to life! I envisioned a small capsule collection of pieces that all worked together but could stand on their own to fill gaps in people’s wardrobes. I liked the idea of being able to wear these pieces as a monochrome matching set, but to also mix and match within the collection, with other Buttercream pieces, and with items already in their closets. This collection boasts the ultimate in comfort with the incredible fabrics Buttercream is known for. It is also a collection that knows no season. You could easily wear the flowy pants with flip flops and a tank top or with boots and a big sweater. The cardigan could be worn over you favourite Summer dress on a cool evening, or as your wardrobe staple all Winter long. These items are versatile and timeless. The Funnel Cake Top: This piece is one both Candice and I are extremely excited to bring you as a totally new silhouette to Buttercream. The relaxed silhouette still has a lovely shape to it with the slight batwing sleeve adding some drama. The funnel neck is a gorgeous high neck that offers breathing room. It’s a great option for those who love the look of a turtleneck, but prefer some extra space. It’s a stunning piece on it’s own or when paired with the Flowy Pant. The Icing Cardi: This cropped-ish cardigan works over everything. Pop it over a tank, a tee, a dress, or tie it around you for some chic layering. The buttons are tone on tone for maximum versatility. It’s another perfect piece to go with the Flowy Pant for a more elevated look. Available in black, navy, and mocha French Terry. $118 CAD
Flowy Pant: Once you slip this pant on, it will be the only thing you’ll want to wear. It has all the comfort of a sweatpant with all the style of a dressy pant. It has a lovely high waist which drapes beautifully and doesn’t grab onto your tummy. They are a generous cut to give you maximum comfort. The little gather detail under the waistband is so pretty and allows you to take them to the office, out for dinner, and beyond. A matching top gives a great alternative to the romper. All the monochrome vibes without any of the washroom hassle. Available in black, navy, and mocha French Terry. $128
And back from the archives is The Best Friend Tee: Once I got my body into one of these tees a couple years ago, it became a fast favourite for me. It’s the perfect length, the perfect sleeve length, and it’s loose but not too loose silhouette makes it an incredibly versatile tee to style.
