There is so much to adore about this upcoming Spring season. Modern florals, bright hues, bold mod looks, playful stripes, and the freedom for all of us to interpret these looks however works best for us. I am a firm believer in being aware of the trends, but not being a slave to them. Always take your shape, age, and lifestyle into account when shopping.
With Spring just around the corner, I’ve been playing with my wardrobe to see just what I have, what I don’t, and cleaning out my closet along the way. A few new purchases have been made, like this colour block dress by BCBG. I bought this dress while we were in Maui. The perfect souvenir if you ask me. This Brighton scarf was a Christmas prezzie from my Grandma. It’s a beautiful silk and you have to love that “fashion blogs” is written right on there. My Grandmother chose well.
Dress: BCBG, Scarf: Brighton, Clutch: c/o Nella Bella, Sunnies: Aldo Accessories, Belt: Maison Scotch, Lip Colour: c/o Joe Fresh

March 4, 2013 at 7:35 amThis is such a gorgeous look, Jen – I would never have dared to pair bright pink and emerald green, but they work perfectly together. And I love the print on your scarf!
