Fall Florals

This oh-so-Fall outfit feels like a total throwback to 90’s Jen, but updated of course.  Floral dresses and chokers.  Helllllooooo high school.  This super cute dress from the Dex Clothing Plus collection has moved it’s way to the top of my favourites list in my closet.  It came with a little fabric self best, which have never really been my thing.  So, I put my stylist hat on and used the belt as a cute choker style neck tie.  I actually really like what it does to the neckline of the dress.

I have always loved this pretty mustard colour.  This year, it is everywhere and I’m taking full advantage of finding ways to add it into my wardrobe.  This cozy cardi, I bought at Addition Elle, has been worn with everything from dresses, jeans, and even my leggings.  I used to be an accessories queen.  I was actually an accessory buyer for several years at the boutique I managed.  These days accessories are just “toys” for my kids to yank on.  The neck tie is out of the way and not breakable.  Thumbs up!  Hats make any outfit more interesting and cover up a weeks worth of dry shampoo.

Is anyone else bringing back some of their favourite looks from high school?  Or does that thought horrify you?  Or, am I totally aging myself here?  Haha!  I’m sure it’s that one!
