My Shopping Challenge

I am a sucker for shiny new things.  I love bringing home a new find and adding it to my wardrobe, however, sometimes my wallet doesn’t like my lust for new.  My Style Common crew put me to the challenge…a shopping challenge that is.  Buy a new outfit (minus shoes) for under $50.   This is what I came up with.

Blouse: Winners $16, Skirt: thrifted $12, Belt: thrifted $3, Clutch: Winners $8,  Necklace: Forever 21  $7  Total = $46

I’m quite in love with this outfit.   I think it will be perfect for Spring and warmer days.  I’ve been able to wear these pieces separately for now too.  I’ve been layering them in lots of different things so I’m more than getting my money’s worth.  I’m so pleased with my finds.

That outfit is fantastic – I love every last bit of it. The flared skirt is adorable and the pops of gold are lovely. I’m so impressed that you managed to get accessorized too for under $50.
