Back to School

I can’t quite believe it, but here I am writing about back to school.  My little Madelyn is starting preschool this Fall.  She is so excited!  I hope she stays that excited when the day actually comes.  We are less than a week away from her staring.  We bought her this adorable backpack when we went on our trip to Palm Springs last Fall.  She hasn’t really used it since, so it feels new to her again. I found her these cute little jeans at the JBF Consignment sale back in the Spring.  They were a bit big on her, but fit great now!   I plan on doing a bit more thrift shopping for her (and maybe for myself for maternity wear).  Thrifting is such a great to not only save money, but to also make a smaller footprint on the environment.

I had to, of course, grab Maddie a couple tees from my shop West + Wind.  In case you missed the announcement, my business partner Kait and I will be closing our shop at the end of September.  Kait is expecting her first child in just a few weeks, and I am expecting twins at the end of the year.  With all these babies on the way, we decided our focus should be on our growing families.  We have a BIG sale on now.  All our adult tees are all $20, kids tees are $12, the Thrift Tees are just $7, and all jewelry is $10 and under.  Okay…..that’s enough of my sales pitch;)

So Momma’s…where do you like to shop for your ones for all there back to school looks?  Do you thrift?  Online shop?  Hit up the local shops?  To head to the national brand stores?
