My focus for the year is health for my family and for myself. I’m cooking and eating healthy foods, starting to take the occasional break for myself to have some me-time, but I still need to conquer the regular exercise hurdle. I am currently looking into some at home fitness options. I am totally open to any suggestions you might have. Has anyone ever taken part in an online fitness group? A group to keep you accountable and help you reach your fitness goals? Moms, how do you fit your fitness in?
Now, a cute workout outfit?!? That I can get behind. Feeling good about how you look and looking good to help how you feel definitely go hand in hand. I believe you can absolutely love yourself in the body you are in today and still want to work on yourself. Despite still having baby weight lingering, I am happy with the way I look (most days….like everyone, I let those ewww thoughts creep in sometimes). One of the most self conscious places for me is the gym. The questions flood my head….”Am I using this machine right?” “Is my ass jiggling when I’m exercising?” “Why is that guy taking pics of himself in the mirror in the middle of the gym?” Ok, I guess that last one is more of a general inquiry. Soooo, that is part of my reason for looking for at home sollutions, plus that whole three small kids thing.
Another big part of my insecurities when working out is not having the right gear to wear. I’m not being superficial here. When I’m working out and wearing a top that is too tight, a bra that doesn’t support, or a tee that is too short and rides up, it can take me from a workout queen to a fidgety mess. Addition Elle has a super cute collection for the gal who wants comfort and function, but still wants to look adorbs. (Yes, I said adorbs.) You can check out their latest Nola activewear collection here. I adore the Nola line! For all you Ladies rocking those 14+ sizes, you are going to want to check it out.
