I think this fab little Dex stripe midi skirt is the only skirt I currently own. I used to own a gazillion skirts, and now I’m down to just one. I love to write about fashion and style looks to share with you all, but I can feel uninspired some days. It’s easy to loose track of how many days in a row I’ve worn leggings and a sweatshirt and sometimes it’s hard to remember the last time I washed my hair. Having said that, I am also known to take advantage of every opportunity to get dressed and express my fashion personality. Weather it’s a trip to the grocery store, taking Madelyn to dance class, or heading out for a quick coffee, I try to put an extra couple minutes into getting ready to help boost my mood.
Yesterday I headed downtown for my first fashion preview in almost two years. This was the first outfit I put on, and it suited my mood, whether, and the event perfectly. Having an edited closet full of items I love, that fit, and I feel good in are what make getting ready easier and less stressful. Considering I was also entertaining the babies while getting ready as my hubby was on a phone call, and still managed to leave the house feeling good and on time?!?….yup, I’m patting myself on the back! I also no longer dress to impress others, I dress for myself. When I put on clothes that I feel comfortable in (in every sense of the word), my confidence comes through. #imsizeme

March 16, 2018 at 10:11 pmSuch a pretty outfit. And I couldn’t agree more, when I dress my body and put comfort at the forefront… I instantly feel confidant and better about having a curvier body. Plus, yay, so fun you got out to the fashion preview. It looked amazing!! xo
