Well, we are officially in the season of… “so what the hell am I supposed to wear today?” Here on the West Coast there has been this shift in the air. We are now experiencing cool mornings, warm afternoons, and chilly evenings. There is no denying that there is that Fall feel in the air, but I’m not ready to say goodbye to Summer quite yet, because, well, it’s still Summer.
I absolutely adore Fall, but I’ve found as I get older, I’m really trying to savour the now and not rush into what’s next. So, having said that, I’m embracing my Summer wardrobe and styling some favourite pieces in new ways to get even more milage out of them. I wore these culottes a whole lot this season (see them here and here) and I don’t plan on hanging them up just yet. I’ve also been grabbing my light weight, long sleeved, blouses as the perfect buffer for our up and down weather.
So, until we absolutely have to kiss Summer’s goodbye I’m going to opt for sandals over boots, iced coffee over PSL’s, meals al fresco when ever we can, and just soaking up every bit of Summer goodness.
